Sandbridge Beach Paddle Fest
Sunday October 20th
ALOHA! Siebert Realty is proud to be a Presenting Sponsor this
year in the Sandbridge Paddle Fest (formerly known as the Hei Hei).
The annual Paddle Fest will be held at Little Island Park at the southend
of Sandbridge offering a full weekend of SUP (Stand Up Paddle boarding) on
Saturday, and Kayak/Surfski Races on Sunday.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Virginia Beach Parks
and Recreation Foundation. The Foundation supports the Department of Parks and
Recreation by raising funds, accepting gifts and providing other resources that
would otherwise go unfunded. Our goal this year is to assist the Therapeutic
Program to purchase specialized equipment such as beach wheelchairs and provide
program scholarships for participants with economic need. This program provides
services to persons with disabilities with the goals of enriching their quality
of life while enhancing skill development and increasing independence through
recreational education and activities.

8:45 am: Mandatory Pre-Race Safety Briefing
9:00 am: Long Course

11:00 am: Kid's Obstacle Course
12:00 pm: Kid's SUP Race Start on Back Bay (behind Baja Restaurant)
12-2:00 pm: SUP Expo/Demos and Post-Race Party/Awards Ceremony located at The Baja Restaurant

8:45 am: Mandatory Pre-Race Safety Briefing
9:00 am: Back Bay Challenge Race Start
9:05 am: Fun Paddle Start
9:30 am: Expo/Demos Open
12-2:00 pm: Post-Race Party/Awards Ceremony at The Baja Restaurant
