Virginia Beach Horseback is located right on the beach along the boardwalk and has a variety of riding services from Beach Horseback Rides... to Swimming On Horseback... to Custom Special Events. Serving the beach since 2006, they offer not only horseback rides, but also amazing bonding moments for their customers. Horse rides are guided by one of their charming beach cowboys or cowgirls. Currently, they provide up to 11 horses for rent at a time.

VB Horseback's Story:
VB Horseback is a fun and caring organization that is here to help provide a better understanding of the bond that is established between man and horse. They have already rescued, retrained, and sold 5 horses since Chase Foster took over the business in 2010.
These horses were deemed unmanageable by their previous owners who, in turn, were looking to make a quick buck by selling them to the highest bidder, slaughter chains, and all. VB Horseback's mission at these auctions is to find and save as many horses as they can. The "unmanageable" horses come to the farm with all the spirit of a wild mustang. Their goal is not to break the spirit completely, but to find a safe way for us to communicate commands to these powerful creatures in a way that can't hurt them or us.Every customer that comes to support our business and experience their own bond on the beach, is ultimately helping save and care for even more of these amazing animals.
Beach Horseback Rides

Thursday - Monday / 12pm - 7pm
Location: 31st & Atlantic Ave (on the beach)
Guided Rides:
All riders will be instructed on how to control the horses, and no experience is needed for any of their events. You will be taken along the surf starting at 31st St. going south to the pier and back. There is nothing better than getting a tan and feeling the ocean breezes while on horseback! They even welcome you to take the horses in the water to help cool them off if needed.
Rates:
$80.00 per person - 1 Hour Tour
$150.00 per person - 90 Minute Tour
