Virginia Beach Whale Watching Tours are available now through Mid March by Rudee Tours. Come experience an unforgettable trip to see incredible views of the world’s largest and most beautiful marine mammals. Rudee Tours' knowledgeable captain and crew will lead you on an educational journey along the Atlantic coast in search of whales, dolphins, seals, and several species of birds. The highlight of these trips is spotting humpback whales, which can often be seen breaching, flipper slapping or tail lobbing.
Whale Watching tours run on a limited schedule between Sunday, 11/13/16 through Saturday, 1/4/17. Please call to confirm trip times. Our regular Whale Watching schedule runs Saturday 1/4/17 through Sunday, 3/13/17:
- Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 2:00pm
- Saturdays & Sundays at 11:00am & 2:00pm
Tours Through Mid-March Adults: $28.00
Kids 11 & under: $24.00
Kids 3 and under: Free
The Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay entrance off of Virginia
Beach are one of earth's unique ecosystems. The Humpback and Fin Whales don't
really make their seasonal migration along the eastern seaboard until now
(winter). Marine life sightings this time of year are incredible with
whale sightings as the number one goal on the whale watching tours. You may
also see brown pelicans, northern gannets, double-crested cormorants and other
sea birds, all of which make a dramatic show while feeding on schools of fish.
